Kestrel provides a comprehensive range of technical services to our chemicals clients.  We have engineering experience in a wide spectrum of petrochemical and organic, inorganic, and specialty chemical processes and facilities.  We support capital and major maintenance programs, commonly managing ongoing portfolios of projects ranging from process debottlenecking studies to upgrading existing plants.  We understand and align with our clients’ priorities and strategic objectives, supporting their stage-gate projects execution from FEL/FEED through startup and commissioning.  We tailor our work execution to match our clients’ work processes.

We don’t own, develop or license process technology – we maintain a technology-neutral position.  This allows us to work collaboratively with our clients’ process groups, technology and commercialization consultants, technology licensors and others, supporting process design and implementation.  We do understand process development and commercialization project execution planning, and we commonly assist clients in developing a roadmap to define the approach from initial concept to a constructed and operating facility.

Confidentiality and protection of our clients’ intellectual property is of critical importance.  We take that responsibility very seriously. We will recuse ourselves from projects or working with new clients where potential conflicts of interest may exist, or may just lead to the perception that such could exist.  Clients trust us with their most important process and market intellectual property.

Our retrofit specialization makes us an ideal engineering partner for turnaround and complex revamp projects, taking responsibility for the full scope of small to medium capital projects or OSBL integration for large capital projects.  Whether as part of your team or leading a coordinated effort, we will deliver your project safely, meeting the budget, schedule and quality objectives reliably.
